YO!
Welcome back to Yo! – Your go to spot for a bi-monthly fix of the latest releases, videos, news and vibes gathered up neatly in a Yo! sized bundle!

Dave East – Keisha

Let’s kick things off with a dose of that old school NY story-telling ish! Lifted from his highly anticipated Kairi Chanel, which is due to drop at the end of the month, Nas-approved Dave East paints a tale of an encounter with a femme fatale over Mr. Authentic’s monster beat.

Black Josh – Ape Tape

Blah, blah, blah…he’s back again. Hosted by fellow Manny hombre Chimpo, Josh’s latest project Ape Tape further cements his city’s status as a hotbed of homegrown talent.

Ryu – The One

The Demigodz and Styles Of Beyond wordsmith has finally dropped his ‘debut’ album Tanks For The Memories and it’s an absolute beast; with the rowdy The One the latest track to get the visual-treatment. Make sure you check the whole album out; you won’t be disappointed.

Apathy – Pieces Of Eight

Sticking within the Demigodz camp, Apathy’s graced us with the cinematic visuals for Pieces Of Eight, lifted from Handshakes With Snakes that dropped earlier this year. Ap goes all out with the nautical themes and shouts have to go to Wicked Woods Studios for their video production…

Vinnie Paz – The Void

Passing the baton on to his AOTP counterpart, Vinnie Paz has dropped the first single to be taken from his impending release, The Cornerstone Of The Cornerstore.  Featuring a heavy beat courtesy of Buckwild and Eamon on hook duties (yeah – that dude that dude that had Top Of The Pops’ bleep machine in overdrive back in the day!), this is a triumphant return for Paz.

Danny Brown ft Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul & Earl Sweatshirt – Really Doe

He’s really been sharing lately!  The fourth track to be taken from his soon-to-land Atrocity Exhibition, Brown’s hooked up with a couple of Black Hippies and Earl Sweatshirt for a huge, huge track…

Raiza Biza – Day & Night EP

Rwandan born, New Zealand inhabitant Raiza Biza has recently dropped his laid back and extremely smooth Day & Night EP.  It’s a collaborative effort with artists and musicians from around the globe and offers up something a little different.

NxWorries – Lyk Dis

The first track to be taken from Anderson .Paak & Knxwledge’s full length project which drops this Oct. Keep your eyes and ears peeled! Yes Lawd!

Mr Brown – Beats For Days 2

Nearly 6 years down the line from his first solo outing Beats For Days, producer extraordinaire Mr Brown’s back in the frame and teasing us with selections from his follow up, the cunningly titled Beats For Days 2.

The Cool Kids ft Maxo Kream – Running Man

Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck English have returned! The Cool Kids have been absent for a while but ahead of a new album next year, they’ve offered up their first track in five years in the shape of Running Man.

Leddie MC – Circles

It may have been nearly a year since Leddie dropped her Home In My Head EP but she’s recently released visuals for the third single Circles; with the Middlesborough MC dropped sharp bars over the mellow, guitar-led vibes.

Flatbush ZOMBiES – Trade-Off

Lifted from their most recent project, 3001: A Laced Odyssey, the Zombies are back again with a fresh set of visuals…

Osten af feat. Masta Ace, Bam, Prop Dylan, Kashal-Tee & Coco Rouzier – The Avengers

Masta Ace and Bam of Jungle Brothers feature on this unique Swedish release. Osten af is in perfect company as Swedish Hip-Hop icons Kashal-Tee and Prop Dylan also make an appearance. The video (shot in Austria, Denmark and Sweden) is as interesting as the tracks roster of greats.

Skrabl – The Scrum (Posse Cut) Prod. Oozhe

Something not seen regularly enough are posse cuts. So enjoy this monster The Scrum from Skrabl ft Hozay, Jibbarish, One Oz, Dr.VooDoo, Trademark Blud, Verses Bang, Ash the Author, Plain David, Twiggz & Cletus.
