Contestant, what’s your names, chosen craft and where are you based?
T.Relly aka Rellington aka Bristol Blitz - Rapper/ vocalist from and based in Bristol
DJ Rogue - Turntablist and produce from Bristol
How would you describe your sound?
Relly: Highly lyrical and layered in its subtext. Multi tonal with a Bristolian, RTagga twang.
Rogue: Soulful heartfelt Hip Hop
Who / what do you consider to be the biggest influence on your music?
Relly: I’ve been hugely influenced by Jamaican Reggae artists, trailblazers and activists but I feel my biggest influence is growing up in Bristol; the life I’ve lived also the lives of those around me.
Rogue: Late ‘80s and early ‘90s Hip Hop, Ragga and Dancehall.
What’s the proudest moment to date for you as an artist?
Relly: Releasing our debut album Let Them Know. It’s really a body of work myself and my city can be proud of.
Rogue: Yeah, definitely Let Them Know.
Do you have any advice for our readers who maybe trying to play the mad game of music?
Relly: Ensure you prioritise your bills and anyone who relies on you are paid first! After that don’t forget who you are. As things develop, be happy and enjoy the game but treasure the things you had before people began to pay attention.
Rogue: Understand what you’re trying to do and believe in it and yourself.
Name 3 people you would love to work with and why?
Relly: J. Cole - It just amazes me how skilled in presenting a message he is. Damien Marley - He mixes style and passion so well. Finally, Rag’N’Bone Man - Mainly because his track Human will just stick with me for a longtime. I think we’d make something sick.
Rogue: MF Doom, Jay Electronica & Kanye. Why? I think we’d make dope music
What have you got planned for the not so distant future?
Relly: Wrapping up the last few videos for the album - Let Them Know, When They’re Gone and Push The Button.

Relly: Red & Meth at Bristol O2.
Rogue: When I DJ’d for Onyx at Motion, Bristol.
