Demi Portion Live @ The Jazz Cafe Friday 7th December
Thanks to his noticeable flow, his thin voice and clever writing, Demi Portion has gradually built up a solid reputation in the French hip-hop scene which has culminated in a run of solo albums since 2011; Artisan du Bic, Les Histoires, Dragon Rash, 2 Chez moi and this year’s Super Héros.
Appealing to both the purists and the mainstream audience, no one else from the French scene can claim to have worked with the likes of IAM, Oxmo Puccino, Kery James, Fabe, Fonky Family and Disiz.
Portion’s aim is to bridge the gap between the old and the new generation of artists, which he does with generosity and goodwill, moving listeners with stories of positivity.
Opening the show will be soulful hip-hop artist Kinkai from Manchester.
