Earlier this week, Denzel Curry, played a sold out show at Manchester Academy.

Sunday’s show was one of 10 currently announced dates on the European leg of his ‘Zuu Tour’, three of which are set right here in the UK.

The Florida rapper is proving popular this side of the pond, as the first 4 dates are now sold out - sorry if you were hoping to catch one of those! Throughout the hour long set, Denzel dove into his 8+ year discography, which includes 4 studio albums and a colourful array of mixtapes and singles.

Known for his high tempo performances, this particular show was no exception - his contagious energy definitely passed onto the 700+ fans as crowd participation was a no brainer.

Also along for the ride and supporting Denzel throughout the tour is Oakland Native, Guapdad 4000 - a member of the ‘Zoink Gang’, consisting of J.I.D, Smino, Buddy & Earthgang, the young rapper has definitely made some big moves throughout his short 2 year career.

Conveniently, we’ve also just seen the release of his latest album ‘Dior Deposits’, which boasts features from some big names; Chance the Rapper, Tory Lanez and fellow Bay Area locals, G-Eazy & E40 to name just a few.

For our European readers, if you’re still hoping to catch Denzel as he passes through our corner of the world, there’s still tickets available over Europe stretching as far as Russia so now’s the time to get on it!

Last but not least, we’d like to extend a special thanks to the guys at Imran Malik for arranging our access into the show and invite our readers to sit back and enjoy some our favourite shots of the evening from photographer, Dan Griffiths | Visualati."
