It’s the Angel of the North meets the Angel of the South. We’re proud to bring you the exclusive first-look at the latest visuals from one of our favourite labels; the ever-impressive Village Live. We’re not sure if it’s their unofficial mantra but they don’t seem to deal in below-par beats and their discography stands testament to that.
Their newest offering is lifted from December’s collaborative project from Cappo & Cyrus Malchi, the brilliant Postmodernism. Having put in more than their fair share of graft over the years, the duo are most definitely stalwarts of the domestic Hip Hop scene and showcase their lyrical prowess throughout the release. Throw in to mix production from the likes of Chemo, Evil Ed, Mr Brown, DJ Drinks, Wytfang & Cappah and you get an idea of why we hold everyone involved in such high regard.
And so to the newest video, the aforementioned DJ Drinks produced Aqua Lungi. With Malachi’s fellow Triple Darkness member Ringz Ov Saturn orchestrating the visual treatment, it’s monochromatic mood perfectly complements the duo’s gritty delivery in it’s simplicity. It’s a no-frills affair; just some of that pure, raw and uncut we all love.
