ICYMI: The Return Of Lowkey

Just in case you missed the memo - Lowkey is well and truly back. After a period of absence from the scene, one of the finest MCs this country has ever been lucky enough to class as one of its’ own returned to our earbuds with his powerful new album Soundtrack To The Struggle 2. A continuation of it’s predecessor, it finds the Poisonous Poet as potent as ever; combining his intricate wordplay and stark social commentary to great effect. Never one to shy away from speaking out, it shines the light on a vast array of of subject matter; from love, loss and religion to Palestine, the Grenfell tragedy and that dickhead Donald.

To conicide with the album’s release and to add extra impact, Lowkey’s currently in the middle of a UK wide tour and we we’re more than looking forward to catching the Bristol leg of the tour at the end of the week. With seven dates remaining, there’s still time to get involved and witness one of the best around.
