51st State Festival 2019
51st State is back for its fifth year (Saturday 3rd August), and it might just be the biggest yet! For fans of house music, this year presents a huge line up featuring David Morales, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Matt Jam Lamont, Roger Sanchez and Dimitri From Paris. Following from last year’s sold out festival, this year, the festival is stepping it up a notch with seven stages, showcasing the best sounds in house, garage, club and groove.
For fans of soul, disco and funk, we recommend hitting up the We Love Soul Stage for the sweet sounds of Norman Jay as well as 80s songstress, Joyce Sims, best known for her track Come Into My Life, from the album of the same name (which she wrote, produced and mixed).
For those who prefer ragga, jungle, drum and bass, and reggae vibes, the Hot Wuk Stage will bring offerings of all, with a line up boasting Stylo G, Tippa Irie, Ragga Twins and Tanya Stephens. Yuh Nuh Ready For Dis Yet!
For those who missed Fabric’s massive Back to 95 night, fear not. 51st State is bringing back the 90s and 00s garage, house & R&B nostalgia with duo Sweet Female Attitude, pioneer Wookie and Kele Le Roc.
And, despite the extended line up, 51st State is still sticking to its roots with a line up on the Groove Odyssey Main Stage that’ll attract every house fan. From the electro-house hip-hop sounds of Dimitri from Paris, to techno and house giant, Kerri Chandler, 51st State is looking to be one of the hottest events of the summer. Plus, with news of a surprise birthday guest (the UK’s number 1 garage DJ), we expect it to be one of this year’s most memorable festivals.
