At the age of just 21, YBN Cordae has taken the internet by storm with his popular remixes of 1985 'Old N*ggas' and 'My Name Is' since 2014. More recently he has blown up after releasing singles such as ‘Bad Idea’ featuring Chance The Rapper and ‘RNP’ produced by J.Cole - lifted from his currently unreleased album, ‘The Lost Boy’. Attaining local fame thanks to a string of well received mixtapes, last week Cordae proved his capabilities of performing on the big stages, with a thrilling performance at 02 Islington. A close to sell-out occasion, his audience showed genuine enthusiasm for the Maryland rapper, spitting his rhymes often word for word.
