IN PICS: EARTHGANG @ Electric Brixton 26/09

Atlanta Hip-Hop duo EARTHGANG, composed of Olu (aka Johnny Venus) and WowGr8 (aka Doctur Dot), played a sold out show at Electric Brixton in London last Thursday - as part of their What On Earth tour, which sees them play 5 UK dates; London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Bristol.

The duo have been making music since 2008 and are signed to J.Cole's Dreamville label along side Cole himself, Bas, J.I.D and more. They played tracks from their latest album Mirrorland which dropped on the 6th of September, along with other tracks from there 10+ year discography.

Opening for EARTHGANG was Bronx born rapper, Wifisfuneral who put on a 20 minute or so set before EARTHGANG came on, as well as Innanet James, an upcoming rapper out of the Baltimore/D.C area.

It's very clear EARTHGANG appreciate their fans and treated everybody as equal. They connected really well with the crowd and you could feel a genuine relationship building throughout the show. Besides the physical barrier at the gigs, there was no separation between fan and artists. They brought a few fans on stage and let them take turns at dancing. I was pleased to see that after the show they didn't just walk straight off, but instead jumped down into the pit and started signing memorabilia and random items for the fans.

If you get a chance, make sure you check these guys out live. You will not be disappointed. Check out our highlights in pics below!

Special thanks to Live Nation for hooking us up.
