KAY2B - Interview
1. So tell me, how did it all begin? What sparked your love for music?
I’ve always loved music, I just never thought I was going to be a rapper.
My friends would always freestyle for fun, but it was nothing serious until one day I tried to freestyle and got told by one of my friends I should consider actually taking it serious. Since then I got better and I know my style.
2. Who are some artists that influence you and that you want to work with in the future?
I’ve actually never really thought about that, but now you’ve asked me I would say maybe the likes of J Hus and Headie One. If I could work with them it would be great.
3. Your new single is out and doing the rounds, we love it, are you able to tell us if there's plans for a full album and when we can expect it?
I will say more music is coming out soon so just be prepared for it.
4. How would you describe your sound?
Unique because of the type of beats I’ve picked out and how I’m bringing out my personality on the track.
5. What's your proudest moment to date so far as an artist?
My work rate during the summer because I didn’t know I was able to do certain things.
6. Do you have any advice for our readers who may be trying to play the mad game of music?
Enjoy it and be yourself because being yourself takes you far and you wouldn’t expect it.
7. Are there any artists on your radar at the moment that we should check out?
To be honest I’ve been listening to everyone so I would check Grm Daily.
