Premiere: Z Lewis – Down (Video)

Repping the Hackney X Australia connection we give you Z. Lewis, a fiery upstart rapper kicking a few speakers to bits with his rowdy track Down (prod. Don DiestrO). He’s just dropped the visuals and you know it’s going to be a good music video when the opener is a bathtub full of rabbit food; madness ensues as Z. Lewis then has dinner with his clone and we witness a robbery of sorts with bouquets of flowers. Shot on location in Melbourne, directed by Alvin Dang, the visuals match the track to a tee – virulent and properly jilted, so do yourself a favour and get it watched!

Z. Lewis describes the track in his own words “Down comes from a place of defiance. I’m kinda taking pot shots at those in my life who sought to push me under along the way. I think people will be able to relate to the feeling of knowing you’re great, but being told to merely play your role in someone else’s show…”
