Loyle Carner (Mercury & BRIT nominee, NME award winner) returns with his first single and video of 2020, ‘Yesterday’, out now on EMI Records. Carner is often praised for the perfect matching of music to lyrics and is known for his love of golden age Hip-Hop. On ‘Yesterday’ worlds collide as arguably the greatest producer of our time, Madlib, has provided the beats that sit under Loyle’s inimitable flow and uncompromising verses.

‘Yesterday’ was premiered by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 and named her ‘Hottest Record’. Loyle has also been announced as the first host of the new BBC 6 Artist In Residence, his first show aired on Tuesday 10th at midnight and is now available on BBC Sounds. The show is the first of ten that Loyle will host, with this initial one celebrating the vast and exceptional discography of Kanye West, with follow up shows diving deep into the catalogues of Madlib, J Dilla and other iconic producers.
