Griz-O - Brownswood Basement Session

Griz-O is an MC defined by his bold and direct approach. Based in the UK’s South West, he totes lyrics and artwork that nod to martial arts; he has the combative, tough-talking braggadocio to match, delivered through smart, head-turning bars. Embracing an experimental, grizzly sound, influenced by grime and UK rap, his career thus far has already seen him travel as far afield as Kazakhstan to play a headline show.

Future Bubblers is an expansion of Gilles Peterson’s network supported by Arts Council England designed to discover and develop unsigned talent within left field music. Each year there are 8-10 Bubblers that get selected and paired with a mentor for the year long scheme.

The basement sessions have become a legendary thing and an amazing milestone in artists careers with artists like Greentea Peng, Sampa The Great & Black Pumas all taking part.
