Wolfie - 10 Questions & D.I.T.D (Single Drop)

Wolfie returns with an exciting new EP which she put together during lockdown, called All Souls which drops early December.

Before then, she released her new single D.I.T.D and also Supernatural on 2nd November - she specifically chose this date because it marks All Souls’ Day, which is a day to commemorate Christians who are believed to be in purgatory because they died with the guilt of sins on their souls. Wolfie is very much into spirituality, and the whole concept of the project taps into how her spirituality ties in with her Roma/traveller heritage.

1. Contestant, what’s your name, chosen craft and where are you based?

Wolfie, Music, Kent.

2. How would you describe your sound?

Worldy RnB sauce.

3. Who/what do you consider to be the biggest influence on your music?

My pent up emotions.

4. What’s the proudest moment to date for you as an artist?

Supporting The Internet on their UK tour with a band full of my talented friends I went to college with & my brother who was our dedicated driver.

5. Do you have any advice for our readers who maybe trying to play the mad game of music?

Mark out your journey’s milestones, know what you’re willing to compromise on & always put the actual music first.

6. Name 3 people you would love to work with and why?

Pharrell, because Pharrell. Gipsy Kings because Gipsy Kings & Giggs because I can see that feature being special & something divine.

7. What have you got planned for the not so distant future?

I’m working on a project next year that’ll put me back on stage (my real comfort zone) & as always new music for the pending sunshine in 2021.

8. What’s the album you’ve played more than any other?

James Blake - Assume Form.

9. What’s the best concert you’ve been to and where was it?

Gipsy Kings - Royal Albert Hall, on my own in a front row seat.

10. Name three things you can’t live without?

Quorn chicken nuggets, access to nature/wildlife, my own space.
