The Dressing Gown Mob - Gown For Business (Album)

6 years ago, Richdoctor was performing on the main stage at Strawberry Fair in a dressing gown and a thong, and all of a sudden, Mr Margaret Scratcher and Professor Crabb rocked up in the same attire and they thought - "Yeah, mob innit!" So they smashed their first set and it went off!!

The world was their Oyster Card, and then Professor Crabb took a leap gown under to fly the DGM flag in Australia, whilst still pulling the strings on the high quality beats/production with Scratcher.

From there they recruited the likes of Jase Ventura and Phi-Nominal on the wordage, adding to RichDoctor’s eloquent nonsense. This, combined with Maggie on the unique cuts was a dead cert and even got them a lovely little banger produced in LA by Low Fidelity.

6 years later, the debut album “Gown for Business” hits the digital world.

Dressing Gown inspired HipHop, A lazy mob rolling straight out of the smoking lounge to the stage rocking the flyest gowns, sounds, vocals, scratch live visual spectacular, crowd contests, mob branded whisky and cuts from Maggie Scratcher.

Gown For Business was released on 23rd October 2020 on Coupe de Ville Records.
