Yiigaa - For Me (Single)

‘For Me’  is the new single from Brixton born and raised, genre-blending singer-songwriter Yiigaa, produced by underground Lo-Fi producer Nikhil and mixed with electronic pop producer J.Ar.J.

The new track follows the Conducta R&B/2-step remix of her single ‘Closer’  which came about after Conducta hailed the track as one of his favourites of the year. On ‘For Me’, Yiigaa’s ethereal voice glides across the confident upbeat production, creating a vibrant and catchy melody to bring people together. Speaking on the track, Yiigaa said “‘For Me’ is “a declaration of love  - it is about overcoming darkness and finding light and acceptance.”

Known as the ‘Southeast Songstress’, Yiigaa’s sound mixes up her own fresh twist with classic R&B to create a diverse original vibe grown from her upbringing surrounded by world music, the South London rave scene as well as her love for garage, soul-electric and house.
