Part of the Philadelphia crew ‘Village of the Smoke’, Blue W3rd brings us his latest release ‘True Blu3 2’.

This three-song visual EP takes viewers to the epicentre of one of the most traditionally disparaged drug afflicted neighbourhoods in America. Which is Philadelphia’s Kensington area.

Dusty kicks and jazz horns transcend the timeless nature of Hip-Hop’s golden-era into modernity, with Blue’s crafty lyrics, cross-referencing & documenting religious text, history and the social environment of today brings all viewers unfamiliar and savvy to the everyday reality of those afflicted by the war on drugs, crack and heroine epidemic.
