Alté singer Tomi Agape releases her new single ‘Lovers Rock’ ahead of her forthcoming EP ‘Never Gunna Be The Same’ due out on 11th December. Assembling a formidable trio, ‘Lovers Rock’ showcases Tomi’s glossy vocals perfectly sandwiched between breakthrough Afropop star Amaarae and Alté pioneer BOJ. Born in North West London, Tomi’s inspiration is a fusion of her Nigerian heritage and her childhood icons

Recognised as an underground legend, Tomi is a crucial figure in both the London and Nigeria’s Alté scene, becoming one of the first women to experiment with the sound. Solidifying her status as one of the original trailblazers, she featured on the culturally defining track ‘Rapid Fire’ which reached over 10 million streams.
