Pritt - Transparency (EP)

South London’s Pritt, grew up with her strict yet liberal immigrant Tamil parents honing her Carnatic training as a hobby from the age of 8, hoping that one day she could bring her eclectic taste in R&B, and her South Asian roots into one blend – ‘Eastern meets Western R&B’. After months of planning, hard work and a lot of self-doubt, the songstress debuts her new EP ‘Transparency’ dropping on 31st July - on which she has been gifted to work with the likes of ‘shanks.’ – Los Angeles based producer who has worked with SiR on You Can’t Save Me and Smokepurpp’s Red Bottoms (just to name a couple) and Jbyss, a London based producer who has recently released a single with Eric Bellinger called ‘No Co-Sign’. This project is about being completely vulnerable where you feel most uncomfortable featuring her parents’ encouraging words and support. When writing this EP, Pritt focused on aspects of her life where she has felt wronged or insecure about and wanted to make a compilation. Consider it an homage to her past self.
