Pink Siifu & Fly Anakin - Richard Pryor (Official Video)
Baltimore-based artist Pink Siifu and Virginia rapper Fly Anakin have announced their forthcoming collaborative album, Fly Siifu, and shared new single, Richard Pryor.
Richard Pryor - produced by Playa Haze (Danny Brown, Blu, Freeway) - finds Siifu and Anakin floating across a jazzy backdrop and demonstrating how their contrasting styles mesh and flow together seamlessly. The accompanying video is directed by Nelson Nance, brother of Terence Nance (HBO's Random Acts of Flyness, Earl Sweatshirt's Nowhere, Nobody), and captures the duo’s chemistry perfectly.
Pink Siifu and Fly Anakin’s joint album - aptly titled Fly Siifu - will be released 13th November on Lex Records. The record is loosely based around the concept of the pair being proprietors of a fictional record store called Fly Siifu’s, and includes guest appearances from Liv.e, Fousheé, $ILKMONEY, plus production from the likes of Madlib, Jay Versace, Budgie, Animoss and others.
