Tia Carys - Intro (Single)

It’s clear from ‘Intro’ that Tia Carys is more than capable at being the shining voice of her generation. Late last year, her breakout song “English x Ghana'' spoke on her grappling with her dual heritage, and now on ‘Intro’ she widens the net talking about her sexuality. While it grapples with getting used to her many identities, it’s an expression of joy and acceptance; Carys says of the track it’s about “living and loving fearlessly, here’s a piece of me. It’s enGAYging!”.

Recently, Tia Carys released a collaboration with producer of the moment Fraser T Smith, which also featured singer-songwriter Tom Grennan. We’ll soon have a taste of music, as she releases her debut EP EnRoot on 30th October out via Ministry of Sound. Receiving early support from the likes of The Fader, GQ, and DJ Target, her EP will certainly not disappoint.
