1.    So tell me, how did it all begin?  What sparked your love for music?

I’ve been around music since I was super young. My dad had a home studio in our house and I always used to watch him play and make music. When my little brother was born my dad had to turn the studio into a bedroom - and as a result of that he put the piano he had in my room. I then started teaching myself the piano. As for the singing part, I've loved it since as long as I can remember. There has never been a point in my life where I haven't wanted to be a singer.

2.    Who are some artists that influence you and that you want to work with in the future?

My biggest inspiration is Rihanna - she's 100% influenced my sound. My dream collaborations have to be either 6LACK or Roddy Richh. 6LACK's voice is unreal - his music touches my soul in ways not many people do. Roddy Richh is just epic! His album "Please Excuse Me For Being Anti-Social" is one of my favourites.

3.    Your new single is out and doing the rounds, we here at Wordplay magazine love it, are you able to tell us if there?s plans for a full album and when we can expect it?

I'll be dropping an EP this side of the year. Watch this space - I'm buzzing to give everyone a project. It's been a long time coming!

4.    How would you describe your sound?

I love making anything and everything - that’s the beauty of music. You can express yourself in so many different ways.

5.    What's your proudest moment to date so far as an artist?

My proudest moment has got to be cracking my stage fright. Touring with Rudimental really helped me conquer that fear. Now I feel like I can take over the world!

6.    Do you have any advice for our readers who may be trying to play the mad game of music?

Stay true to yourself and stand firmly on your feet. There will be times where something isn’t going to work and that’s perfectly OK. There’s no success without failure. And don't let people change you!

7.    Are there any artists on your radar at the moment that we should check out?

INFAMOUS IZAK. I'm obsessed with his single "Public Enemy". He's one to watch and next up. What a voice and talent.

8.    What albums are on heavy rotation on your Spotify playlist currently?

I honestly don’t listen to albums too much. I prefer singles. The two songs on repeat for me right now are “Ringaling” by Nines and Headie One, and “Comeover” by Rudimental, Anne Marie and Tion Wayne.

9.    What do you like to do when you're not making music?

I love to dance! I’ve danced since I was 3 years old. I also love making funny TikToks - that app has me hooked!

10. Name Three things you can't live without?

Music, my family and friends and CHICKEN!
