Esmé is luring you into 2021 with her magical electro soul through her debut EP Brooklyn, available now on all streaming platforms.

The jazz raised her, but the Australian artist is now boldly dancing on the borderline of genres with an entrancing sound that revealed itself through a trip to New York in late 2018. In the intimacy of a small studio in Brooklyn, she stepped into the unknown and put her trust and music in the hands of three renowned producers who managed to embrace yet challenge her quietness: Royce Wood Junior (NAO, Jamie Woon), Twilite Tone (Kanye West, Gorillaz) and Chris Penning. Together, they explored the realms of nu soul, EDM, trap and jazz, to create what is now her first EP. « I decided if there was ever a time to take this kind of risk for music it was now. I self-funded this trip and poured my whole heart into it and that's one of the biggest lessons I learnt while there: with music, you have to pour yourself unapologetically, evolve, let go while holding on to your essence.
