Blood Cultures - Keeps Bringing Me Back (New Single)

Blood Cultures are expected to be dropping a brand new album in May and have generously gifted us with a sick video to accompany their new single, "Keeps Bringing Me Back".

It tells the story of a young man, put into a hypnotic state by a psychotherapist, exploring the foggy depths of his unconscious only to uncover what he has feared the most: himself.

While exploring themes of repression and the nature of control, the music video takes the shape of a stylized psychological thriller, inspired by films like Alfred Hitchcock's "Spellbound", Panos Cosmatos's "Mandy" and "Beyond the Black Rainbow".

The video pays homage to the work of Carl Jung, not only from it's characters and psychoanalytical framing, but primarily through its main subject matter: confronting one's own shadow.
