Dur Brain and Binbags met Dr. Syntax at one of the few gig they were able to do last year at The Attic club in Bristol. It was a seated gig outside in the garden. Dur Brain & Binbags both play together in the band Binbag Wisdom. Dur Brain and Binbags spoke to Syner’s about doing a collaboration, he was keen, the rest is history. A couple of months later Dur Brain sent Syner’s the beat, produced by Osirus.

When asked what concepts the beat conjured Syner’s replied “I want to do something about a small town high Street looking desolate on a Saturday afternoon. Cheery stuff, you know! A real party starter.”

The lad’s ran with that and started writing verses. As it was written and recorded remotely during lockdown the final product ended up more like a bleak lament to the solitary lockdown life.
