J.Fox_EGM - Black Bag (Official Video)

Continuing his prolific 2020 output, East London poet J. Fox_EGM debuted his video for his rugged new track, Black Bag. “Inside this bag is all those things that make up a perception of you without really knowing the individual. This lack of acceptance is a part of you regardless of how you see yourself in society or the country you live.” - J. Fox.

Looking to an atmospheric sound, Black Bag’s dark tone and intricate storytelling can only be described as a ghetto symphony. Reworking the stereotypical idea of the black bag in hip hop, the song offers listeners something completely different from what they’d expect. 

Using the bag as a symbol, this is J.Fox’s commentary on the burden and baggage black people often carry in society today. A track that makes such an impact is aided by this Jeff Lagden (@avocado_motion) directed video, which aims to highlight black identity and black perceptions in the world.
