EMS (pronounced ‘Emmz’ and formerly known as Ember Phoenix) begins his rebrand with a tell all single. This is his first track of the year, and a string of singles will follow as he is due to release his EP. Produced by Grammy Nominated Producer ‘BEAST’ (Kendrick Lamar, Ari Lennox), Frequency is about EMS come-up from being homeless to living decently and changing his mindset and adjusting his circles. While he is all geared towards being successful, external influences keep trying to mess with the trajectory.

Quote from EMS: “I wrote the song because that’s how I was feeling at the time. I was with a partner that was happy to reap the “benefits” of being with me but would never want me to go out and get the work done. Like success was supposed to just come knock on my bedroom door.”

Trinidad born, London raised ‘EMS’ has a sound that is unique, blended with catchy hooks and lyricism. The West London resident fuses reality rap with righteous singing vocals that allow a wide reaching audience to relate to his music. Influenced by Trap, RnB and Gospel music, EMS is currently being co-signed by Grammy nominated producer Beast and set to arise with his fire content and ignite 2021/22.
