Slum Government - Stay Slummy (Single)

Rising rap collective Slum Government re-emerged on Thursday with their debut music video release, Stay Slummy, a captivating demonstration of their combined lyrical finesse featuring the ragga vocals of Jman (Babylon Dead) who is also affiliated with the group. Lifted from their upcoming debut project, the single effectively puts the emcees personalities on a plate for listeners to digest, over a headbanging instrumental produced by Wyatt Earp. Filmed on the streets of Bristol by Sektion Red, Stay Slummy sets a high standard for future Slum Government releases and is an exciting insight for what they have in store.

Slum Government formed as a collective around 2020, originally between four young artists called Wyatt Earp, Ten0, Sk1nt & ManLikeMally. Based across four corners of the UK - from South-West to the Midlands, Merseyside and Yorkshire, the emcees quickly attained a buzz throughout the UK hip-hop underground as ones to watch. Assisted by multiple established musical affiliates, including Jman, Sniff and Res One, the potential of Slum Government is undeniable and their debut single, Stay Slummy, exceeds expectations.
