Iconic Manchester rapper and cult figure Black Josh has announced his brand new album Heartbreak Hostel with first single from the project ‘The Birds’, out now with accompanying video.

Propelled by his trademark clever wordplay and hard-hitting flow, all delivered with an endearing Mancunian twang, ‘The Birds’ sees Josh in typically uncompromising form as he does his thing over the slickest of old-school beats. The 15-track Heartbreak Hostel is set for release on 29th October via BLAH records and will feature Tyler Daley, Cult Of The Damned, Lancey Fox, Shei, Kenzie TTH and Ian Leone amongst others.

One of the most electrifying British hip-hop artists to emerge in recent years, Black Josh continues to impress, shock and bemuse in equal measure. The self certified ‘Yung Sweg Lawd’ has been on it since early, forming rap crew APE CULT aged just 17, whilst also a member of rap-monolith Cult of The Damned and Manchester's finest multi-faceted lyrical group LEVELZ. The northern scally has 5 solo albums under his belt already, and is as prolific as he is extraordinary, put superbly by tastemaking hip-hop title Offie, Josh’s art is glowingly described as “tongue-in-cheek and often emphatically delivered”.
