At just eighteen years of age, singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist James Arlington has already been making music for over six years, with several projects in his repertoire. Paying homage to classic 80’s production with a polished and soulful vocal, Slow Nights is the second single from the upcoming EP of the same name. Raised on a mix of pop, funk and soul music, James has shown an aptitude for production from a young age, proven in Slow Nights through captivating synth patches and instantly memorable lyrics.

Taking inspiration from artists past and present (Jamiroquai, George Michael, SG Lewis, Jordan Rakei, etc.), James finds thematic inspiration from teenagehood and relationships, and with various projects in the pipeline, it looks to be quite an exciting future.

Having previously achieved endorsement from BBC Music, and being placed on the BBC Music Introducing 'Hot List' in 2019 (under artist name JBXM), James' previous projects have already generated generous amounts of support. His growing ability to engage with an audience is gaining him a new range of fans; festival slots and headline shows prove his growing ability to excite a crowd.
