Bert - 44 Save All (Single)

Brighton-born multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Bert draws on a plethora of musical inspiration, inner monologue and personal experience for his new single ‘44 Save All’. Having independently released a handful of tracks over the past few years, Bert now joins the ranks of fast rising London based label Well Overdue, with an EP of warming, and charismatic sounds.

Taking inspiration from a large variety of genres and artists such as A Tribe Called Quest, Sylvan Esso, Laura Marling, and Kevin Abstract, Bert’s music is a bare and honest outpour of thoughts about separation, loss, and everyday highs and lows His natural tone and blasé, matter-of-fact delivery are accompanied by his own production and instrumentals, effortlessly spinning catchy choruses and drawing the listener close into his sometimes poignant yet innocently relatable narrative.

Touching on a combination of physical and mental lows, led by emotional development and self-awareness, ‘44 Save All’ gives an insight as to what to expect from his forthcoming EP ‘It's all gd, dw’ (due for release February 2022). Entwined through charming lofi motifs, Bert’s storytelling paints a picture of relatable intrapersonal dynamics. Holding deep emotional weight, this track is Bert’s first musical offering since he was assaulted and mugged at knifepoint earlier this year.
