Willum Maindo - Hard Enough (EP)

Willum Maindo shares his highly-anticipated new EP ‘Hard Enough’ with lead single ‘Get It’, proving once and for all that he is a force to be reckoned with. A slick fusion of Hip-Hop and R&B, Willum takes the listener from melodic grooves to introspective deep cuts and tales of caution with mind-blowing bars and soul-soothing vocals. ‘Get It’ sees Willum Maindo at his finest with a deep, resonating bass, energetic drum machine beats and powerful vocals revealing a personal narrative through candid lyricism and philosophical retrospect.

Speaking about the new EP, Willum Maindo shares: “‘Hard Enough’ is an EP about two themes: Healing and Appreciation. Healing occurs every time I create music and that process is always different. Appreciation is where I allow myself to think about how far I've come and how much I've learned in the last few months.”

Willum Maindo marches to the beat of his own drums. His method, almost completely self-contained from writing to mastering, is unaffected by charts or commercial intentions. Raised in London by his single mother and older brother, Willum grew up on late-90’s R&B classics, American rap, and hip-hop. He started producing beats at the age of 14, but it wasn’t until he turned 20 that he started to write and record songs over his production, taking influence from D’Angelo, Jacob Collier, Kanye West, Childish Gambino, Richard Bona, and Takuya Kuroda.
