Northampton-born rapper DeBe has unveiled his new EP ‘D2DA’, out 19th November.

A eight-track release, ‘D2DA’ opens with DeBe’s three most recent singles. First up is ‘NOT COPS’, a track combining menacing production with witty, hard-hitting bars which drew support from BBC Radio 1Xtra tastemaker DJ Target, then there’s the drum-heavy ‘NICE GUY’, showcasing his unorthodox lyrical style, and lead single ‘X2’, underpinned by an eerie, violin-led production.

'X2' welcomes DeBe’s directorial debut, the story is a prequel to NOT THAT STRONG, not only showcasing his videos are "bold and unforgettable", but also his creative vision (TRENCH). ‘THE QUEUE’ is a further exploration into DeBe’s trademark angst-laden sound, ‘OPENN’ is characterised by smooth beats and DeBe’s even smoother flow, while ‘EVERY PIECE’ offers the record’s most soulful moments.

Closing things out, the piano-driven ‘IYLAH’ finds his bars at their most dynamic, and ‘MAKING SOUND’ is the most powerful track on ‘D2DA’. Steeped in self-reflection it sees DeBe delving into his earlier life.

"All my music is just moments of time captured in sound,” DeBe explains. “This EP is a journey through those periods of time.”
