Melbourne-based Soul artist WILSN delivers a powerful and show-stopping account of catching a cheater lover red handed in her latest single “You Know Better” released via Ivy League records.
With vocals that are likely to stop anyone in their tracks, WILSN takes a contemporary to classic Soul, “You Know Better” serves as the latest example of the Australian artists songwriting prowess, treating the listener to a song reminiscent artists like Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday and Amy Whinehouse, accompanied by a driving rhythm section, a collection of horns that will make anyone want to dance, and of Course, WILSN’s vocals which display an incredible dose of raw power.
After making a name for herself playing shows in Melbourne, it wasn’t long before she was noticed and picked up by international publishing juggernaut Pulse Music Group (Kehlani, Yebba) / Native Tongue (Courtney Barnett, Aldous Harding) and relocated to Nashville. After spending two years in writing rooms with Grammy Award-winning writers honing her craft, WILSN was asked to join The Teskey Brothers on their 2019 UK/Europe tour – playing to sold out crowds across the continent. Upon returning to Melbourne WILSN began working Together with her partner and producer, Stephen Mowat, to create her debut album.
