Twin sister duo, The KTNA, release their long awaited second EP, Resurgence, along with new single ‘Alive’.

A cinematic and bold body of work, the project marks a new era for the duo who have gone through their fair share of trials and tribulations. Their first EP, Life Under Siege, is a collection of candid stories about their unique upbringing, the pitfalls of the music industry, and their struggle with depression. Touching on themes around mental health, the project ended up resonating with fans over the Covid-19 lockdown.

Can't stop it' has a real neo-soul vibe mid-tempo and can't help but bop your head when you hear it, laced with beautiful harmonies.

'B.S' is more of a ballad and has some gospel elements that you can feel in the depths of your stomach and the runs to match as well.

'Sunnyside' is a downtempo track and has some beautifully sad story telling, instrumentally I can hear some guitar, bass ,strings, and can hear what sounds like hand drums amongst other elements. Sonically stunning and taking it’s listeners to another realm.

Resurgence, which is self-produced and self-written by Hope and Millie, is their first musical progression as artists, ushering in a more optimistic and self-assured chapter for The KTNA. They explain, “Resurgence has given us a new lease of life, it’s the start of a new KTNA era.. it’s our first evolution. Although we’re still essentially the same sisters of darkness, we wanted to show the world a more upbeat side of us, a new side, dare we say...a grown woman sultry side!”
