Ramz - Retro Boy (EP)

LONDON, England November 2021 --- South London rapper Ramz who put Barking back on the map back in 2017 has not stopped. Since then, Ramz has demonstrated diversity in his sound by incorporating different genres from Hip-Hop, to Afro-Trap and even Drill. It’s clear to see that music is something that flows effortlessly for Ramz. Now, as we come to the end of the year Ramz is reintroducing his original sound in his new EP ‘Retro Boy’.

Ramz’s day-one supporters will be pleased to hear him reclaiming his original sound, after all, it was this harmonious flow that got him to where he is today and ‘Retro Boy’ reflects exactly that. The jumpy instrumentals bring a vibrant energy to this project, Ramz wanted to highlight that good music can be felt through all the seasons, “I thought I’d put together a project that represents old-school vibes – that’s why I’ve got producers like Crumz and 169 on there, to give the people that feeling they had when I was bringing music out in 2017, 2018 and 2019. I wanted to connect to people as well, every track makes people feel good.” The name of the EP speaks for itself; ‘Retro Boy’ Ramz captures elements from his old style, creating a nostalgic, energetic tone through each track.

The EP consists of six tracks, each song telling a different story whilst still maintaining an uplifting element, fit for any mood. Each track has a focus of love, prosperity and good times. It’s safe to say that Retro Ramz is back.
