PREMIERE: Celine Love - Like You Like That (Official Video)

Hot on our radar right now is Celine Love, the London-based German singer and songwriter who first emerged on the UK music scene with her heartfelt live performances showcasing that soulful voice and talent for storytelling. Recently, Celine has been working with producer TR33 who has brought his R&B flair to her pop-leaning music. A few months back, they released vibey 'Twenty Five', but today all eyes are on the new video for 'Like You Like That'.

Speaking about this new single and video, Celine Love tells us: “‘Like You Like That’ is about the fear of losing myself in the idea of a perfect romance. After a long term relationship that ended during lockdown I was just starting to feel comfortable in my skin because I had the time to focus on myself."

We see her vulnerability come through in the Kairon Edwards-directed video in which her introverted character struggles to connect to the party-goers around her because she's still hung up on this mysterious ex. However that's not where the story ends. Hinted by the empowering lyrics of 'Like You Like That', we slowly see Celine coming out of her shell, finally enjoying herself and her independence once again.

As a final note from this emerging European name: "I am a chronic overthinker and wrote this song almost as a warning to not give up everything I had gained for anyone else."
