KayFaraway - Tuff Luck (Single)

West Midlands raised wordsmith KayFaraway is preparing for an action packed 2022, and is looking to build up some serious momentum for the new year with his latest offering. After spending some long hard hours in the studio, developing his sound, mastering his craft and constructing the blueprint for the next 12 months, it is now time for us to take in hist first and last solo single of the year entitled ‘Tuff Luck’.

After featuring on ‘Guilty Pleasure’ alongside fellow West Midlands talent Kea, and Off-Key earlier this year, Kay quickly reminded us just how talented he is, and it is safe to say that he has raised the bar with ‘Tuff Luck’. The soulful, but drill inspired instrumental has been set up perfectly for the gifted lyricist to showcase his talents, and once again he lays down some expertly crafted raps.

Speaking on the track KayFaraway says: “The track itself is just me being honest with myself and everyone else. I've always said the biggest flex is being yourself, so all I'm doing is speaking for where I'm at and not where I'm gonna be. I’m not gonna fake being a millionaire so people like me. I'm 24 and far from rich right now, had a lot of things not go my way, passed some tests I felt like I wasn't supposed to, as tough as some of my luck has been, I'd be lying if I said I hadn't had any, thats why some of the lines combat each other” .
