The godfather of UK drill returns with his new album: Who’s Watching.

Today, UK drill is a sonically expansive chart-topping, global force. The all-conquering sound emerged from the blocks of Brixton Hill though, pioneered by 67, the first authentic drill collective to achieve mainstream recognition and success.

LD, the crew’s most distinctive voice, returns with the excellent ‘Who’s Watching’. The 11-track project is a powerful statement of intent. Plenty of artists hold a legitimate claim to being the scene’s king, but LD reminds everyone that he’s UK drill’s undisputed Godfather, ready to take back his seat at the top table when he's released from jail in October.

The icy opening one-two of ‘Intro’ and ‘Drillaman’ sets the tone perfectly, pairing LD’s crystal-clear delivery and forceful bars with ominous drill production. ‘Fell in Love’ and ’99 Problems’ add melodic hooks to the potent formula, without losing sight of the masked driller’s gritty essence.
