Sampa The Great - Tiny Desk (Home) Concert

Sampa The Great delivers a stunning performance for NPR’s venerated ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ series. Filmed live from Lusaka, Zambia and featuring live versions of ‘Rhymes To The East’, ‘Mwana’ and ‘Freedom’, the performance concludes with a triumphant rendition of ‘Final Form’.

We were sad to have postponed our sold out American tour last year and I've always loved watching NPR performances and seeing artists truly express themselves, the 'At Home' series was a great way to do that until we can get to the NPR offices in Washington!" - Sampa The Great.

Presented as part of NPR’s month-long celebration of Black History Month, which features additional performances from artists—both established and emerging—from across the worlds of Hip Hop, Jazz, R&B and beyond including: Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Rae Khalil, Wizkid, Bartees Strange, Wynton Marsalis, Immanuel Wilkins, Melanie Charles, Meshell Ndegeocello, Giveon, KeiyaA and Kirk Franklin.
