PREMIERE: Kymara - Home (feat. Bobbie Johnson) Single
‘Home’ is Kymara’s first single of 2021 featuring ‘The rapping Adele’ Bobbie Johnson. Released on independent Brighton based label QM Records who have been supporting aspiring musicians for years. Instrumentally there are warm guitar tones with syncopated drums and I love the way the harmonies overlap, coming in one by one it’s a beautiful touch. Bobbie raps the phrase ‘Home is where the heart is’ which we know means no matter where you are in the world or who you are with, home and family will have that pull on you. A place where memories are built, love, warmth and laughter flourish. I also feel this is what Kymara is getting across to us in her lyrics. It’s not always about the building itself the word ‘Home’ its’ part of a feeling. Have always admired Bobbie’s flow and this feature is no exception. This is wonderful collab and very fitting for where we are at the moment, uplifting and full of hope.
