Based on the lyrics and the singularity of her vocals, this feels far more intimate that her earlier track ‘fxck it then’ which shows her versatility. The instrumentation is beautifully linear as it appears she is going through the motions repeating the phrase ‘today’. This date may be of significance to her moment of realisation that something is coming to an end.
