LSD is the brand new track from Ruelia and is available now on all major streaming platforms.

LSD is a mixture of regggaeton and afrobeats, produced by J Stories in London. The video was directed by Sahra Zadat, and shot in Camber Sands, UK. LSD is written about wanting to be the person you love's escape- the colour in their grey days, and understanding why those days are grey. It's about seeing someone completely and loving them; accepting them.

Sahra and Ruelia wanted to really capture the ethereal nature of LSD and the purity of that type of love, thus it was shot by the beach. Sahra wanted to keep it minimal and have the focus be on the song, with no distractions. This is the third video the pair have shot together, and the relationship is incredible because Sahra can take a song, see the true meaning behind it, and bring that meaning to life. Similarly, J Stories is the same. When Ruelia came to him with this idea in February 2020, she was emotionally in a fragile place and J was able to work with her and bring that pain into a song. J allowed her to come in, be a mess, and write and cry. Ruelia say’s, she is really grateful for them both because art is a process and it takes people like them to allow real art to be made. It's taken a whole year for it to come out, but of all the songs off of her (upcoming) EP, I think this is to me her favourites, and the process was completely worth it.
