Halloomi - Make Lemonade (Album)

MAKE LEMONADE - Artwork.jpg

Halloomi is a producer and emcee from Bristol, UK. His latest album 'Make Lemonade' is dedicated to the late Dan Sterling, dear friend and an inspiration to all who knew him.

Strung amongst skating, crate digging and long hours grafting to cover rising rent prices in the city, Halloomi describes his creative process as a place of chaotic sanity; music as therapy in a fleeting world. His tracks explore themes like masculinity, grief, love, identity and urban isolation, illuminating them with a balance of relatability and a sharp ear for the abstract.

On production his prowess is similarly expansive, featuring resampling of his multi-instrumental performances combined with dustier loops scooped from extensive vinyl crates- as well as scraps from an unlikely array of hardware including a full-sized organ lifted off the street.

Without facade or front, Halloomi’s musical storytelling holds a soulful creativity and stark originality that mark him out as one of the most exciting emerging artists in UK Hip Hop today.
