Brighton based Steven Bamidele is sonically enchanting and brings us his latest single ‘What Happens Afterwards’ featuring keys from Dave Bryce and bass from Ish Hussein. The delicious groove from the get go along with the harmonies make you want to turn up the track, in preparation for the bass face. In terms of instrumentation it’s more jazzy than the other tracks that Steven has but it’s refreshing. This vibe has an unconventional structure but it doesn’t take away from the magic. I believe that the structure gives the instruments and vocals opportunities to shine through.

From the title ‘What Happens Afterwards’ I tried to envision what comes to mind when I think about the title of the song. Things we missed, things to come, am I present?
