Nics - Vision 2021 (Single)

If 2020 was transit, 2021 is ready for take-off. Or at least that’s the case for North London artist Nics, who has already proved to be in full acceleration despite the world’s undying precariousness. Determined and clearer than ever, Nics kicks off the new year with his brand-new single ‘Vision 2021’, released via GRM Daily. Heralded by previous successes ‘Camping’, ‘Cosy’ and ‘Hot Steppin’, Nics finds himself observing on themes of vulnerability throughout the cut, which is soon overruled by optimism and his signature use of suave wordplay.

Throughout ‘Vision 2021’, recorded in the latter part of the year, Nics exudes the fluctuation of his mindset, in which he began to lose motivation and apply unnecessary pressure on himself. In conversation surrounding the framework of the single, he explained: “Despite everything I accomplished in 2020, I felt like I needed to do more for the upcoming year, set out to create some goals for myself and make some changes in my approach - which meant having a clear vision and putting myself first.”
