Globally conscious creative storyteller Chisara Agor arrives with her brand new double single ‘Forever’ and ‘Better Man’, out now via IXCHEL Collective.

The tracks see Chisara’s mercurial voice and lush harmonies joined together with a seamless melting-pot of sounds including West African percussion, jazz, hip hop, bossa nova, indie rock, easy listening and dub-inspired elements, all sumptuously produced by Chisara herself along with Ebi Soda’s VVilhelm.

Whilst ‘Forever’ takes an isolated, fatalistic voice and raises it with a powerful chorus, challenging systems of suppression and calling others to join the history of black movements, ‘Better Man’ speaks sympathetically to the exhaustion and struggles of life in London for everyday people trying to get by.
