Don Piper - Don Piper (EP)

Don Piper presents Don Piper! A halftime/trappy/beats EP that’s already slammed itself into the red. 6 balls-to-the-wall tracks of bass, crunch and drums to get your neck snapping like only Don Piper can. This one’s for your neighbours!

The whole EP was made bass heavy with one self titled track (to add to the egotistical arrogance) and one tune that is named after his favourite skater from his home town Swansea, Risky Rico… hence the name Rico step! Following the Don tradition, this EP has his signature sound and grungy feel running through all the tracks. In Don’s own words, “This EP is based on the faux pas of being an egotistical artist who puts their face on the cover, which is very cliche, but was done ironically.”

Bristol based Don Piper’s music is worldly, ethnic, deep, and dark as well as lighter Neo Soul/J Dilla inspired music. A musician in its purest form, there is nothing Don cannot do when it comes to music production. He has supported Flowdan, been pre-headliner for Nozstock festival, is part of the Subwork Label and has releases planned on many big halftime/DnB labels this year.
