Hailing from Hertfordshire is alt-pop artist Ed Staal who has recently collaborated with up and coming Producer/Artist Dom Porter for his new gritty single ‘Number’. With catchy hooks and sultry vocals and instrumentation ‘Number’ makes for an exciting track. You can definitely hear the cheeky side in the lyrics ‘I think it’s time for you to lose my number’ well damn.

The track ‘Number’ is a shared biographical statement by both Ed and Dom on what it feels like to move on from a situation gone sour. In their eyes, this could be in romance, friendship or business, but sour all the same. Speaking on the record Ed said : “After a rough year leaving a label in the middle of a pandemic and not really feeling like anything was moving, this release encapsulates the feeling of wanting to move on and get things going!.”

Dom Porter has recently released his debut EP with Violet Jones called ‘Seasons’, it has been a busy start of the year for Dom producing for artists such as [ K S R ], Mercy’s Cartel and Mini Juno in the last 4 months. This is just a small taster of what is to come from the duo, with projects lined up and ready for the year ahead.

This is just the beginning and I can’t wait to hear more from their journey.
