Hailing from West London is Rosa Cecilia dropping her second single Passers-by from her EP. It’s a sultry neo-soul laced track with luscious vocals to match. As soon as I heard the track it was instant bass-face and slight repeating nod of the head, if you know you know. With beautiful twinkling keys and FX this track ends too soon , I found myself rewinding this track a few time because I didn’t want it to end. The track resonated with me because of the message behind it my favourite line was ‘prejudice ain’t welcome here’. That’s the kind of lyric you would turn the volume up so people around would hear. It’s encouraging to know that there are artists who aren’t afraid to put these topics into their music, it’s refreshing and shouldn’t classed as being different.

Rosa says “This song is very special to me. I wrote it as a middle finger up to the judgmental stares of passers-by who belittle queerness, interracial love and gender identity.”

We can’t wait to hear what this queen has in store for us.
